Ballroom Dancing is alive and well on the Eastern Shore!

After several years of dedicated work and planning,

a chapter of USA Dance, Inc. has been established in Salisbury. MD.

USA Dance, Inc. (www.usadance.org) is a national non profit organization that supports social and competitive ballroom dancing. Our chapter’s Board of Directors and volunteers continue to work diligently to bring wholesome, no smoking and no alcohol dance events to people of all ages in Wicomico County and surrounding areas. We welcome singles and beginner dancers and our events are open to the public. And, although we have had very successful dances since the summer of 2005, we find that we are sometimes unable to cover our expenses at the close of an event.

In order to continue to offer ballroom dancing to the community we need the community’s help. In competitive ballroom dancing there are categories of proficiency: Gold, Silver and Bronze. With this in mind, we invite you to become a sponsor for USA Dance, Eastern Shore, MD Chapter 6098 and support this healthy and life-long recreation in our community.
